We recently got a Smart Hub 2, but couldn’t connect our smart plugs. We now know that’s because they only connect to 2.4ghz.
We’re trying to find a solution so decided to disable 5ghz, as per other suggestions on the community board. However, the devices have not reconnected and now we’re stuck without any connection.
Any recommendations?
This new hub has been nothing but a hassle! Wish we had kept the old one and now we’re tied into an 18 month contract.

Try a factory reset of the home hub.

Then turn off Smart Setup
