Stranded wire rather than solid copper wire

Would I get an internet connection if I connect the incoming internet line to a stranded wire cable (using jelly crimps) and then terminate the stranded wires to the master socket?

Stranded wire is not suitable for insulation displacement connectors. If it is screw terminals then no problem.
