Re: Sync speed going down

your connection speed has remained constant since your first post but your attainable speed which I think you keep referring to as sync speed will fluctuate up and down and that is normal - mine does daily

Re: Sync speed going down

Fair enough but why atainable speed couple of months ago was around 55000-54000, 1 week ago it was 49000 and now 45000.

It appears that ip profile is 42500 only

How do i get it increased please.

Re: Sync speed going down

your profile is based on connection speed not attainable so that has not changed since you posted initially as conenction speed is still the same

have you checked for line noise  dial 17070 option 2  should be silent and best with corded phone using test socket

Re: Sync speed going down

Which master socket do you have?

Keith_Beddoe_0-1577035081757.jpegMaster socket types.jpeg

You say you moved after 12hrs from test socket back to slave socket which dropped up speed as I said  what do you mean by slave socket?

Re: Sync speed going down

I have nr 2 master socket and cable going around the house to slave socket.

I had my router connected to my slave socket for last couple of years. When i noticed that attainable speed is dropping i moved my router  and connected to the test socket on the master socket to take out of equation wiring issue.

For 12 hours when the router was connected to the test socket the situation didnt improve and it kept going down so i decided to put the router back on my slave socket.

Re: Sync speed going down

you should not have 2 master socket on the one phone line- only 1 can be the actual master and that is one that is connected to the incoming openreach cable
