Hi,
Fairly recently (within the last 3 or 4 months) my broadband / WiFi connection has started being temperamental. Examples of this are:
1) Devices disconnecting from the WiFi - mobile phones, smart TV and desktop computer have repeatedly disconnected from the WiFi and it usually takes resetting the hub to establish a connection again.
2) The internet not being able to cope with Zoom/Skype/Teams video calls which, as I am now working from home, is of vital importance. I keep losing connection or it stutters and there is some serious lag.
I've checked if I've got any issues in my area and there are none. I am starting to think it may be that my equipment needs replacing. I believe I have an older version of the BT hub, I have had it for a number of years, and I would like this replaced with a newer / the latest version that is available to me.
I'd be grateful for a response as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Would this be a wireless issue? Have you split the wireless networks?
I haven't. How would I do this and what might this do?
Thanks.
