Tp link vr2800 help

Hello bought this as it says its fully comparable with bt infinity

All set up okay disabled ipv6 as was told it doesnt work with bt

All okay speeds sync at 80mb and 20mb

But not getting no were near them wired or wifi

Also if I do a speed test it knocks all my devices off ?.

When speed test finishes the devices all come back on?

Over tried qos and nothing also tried ipv6 on and nothing makes it better?

Is this a router issue or bt?

Re: Tp link vr2800 help

I have the same, and although I am starting from a much slower speed, I don’t see the issues you have.
Would be worth running a quiet line test and see if you get any noise, and update the firmware to the latest version.

Re: Tp link vr2800 help

It won't be a problem with the line if the sync speed is OK.

Re: Tp link vr2800 help

You could try changing wifi channel, to see if that improves things for wifi connected devices, but if you are getting problems with Ethernet connected devices as well it could be purely congestion with the world and his wife working from home.

Speeds are up.   But still if i do a speed test on my phone or any other device it knocks all other devices off line until the upload part of the test is done?
