Recently upgraded my printer to a Brother DCP L2530DW, for some reason it will not connect to my hub.
It keeps saying that the wireless router/access point cannot be detected.
I have turned off firewalls, reinstalled printer software, reset the hub.
Is there a setting on the hub I may have missed.
Cheers and thanks in advance.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Make sure you have turned off Smart Setup on the hub.
If that doesn't help, temporarily turn off the 5Ghz wireless until the printer has connected and then re-instate it.
I assume you are trying to connect the printer manually rather than via WPS, if not, do so.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Smart assist is off, turned off 5Ghz and it doesn't have a WPS key.
I have tried connecting through the printer itself.
It keeps saying no access point.
after you turn off 5ghz have you also tried selecting 2.4ghz channel manually instead of auto and also in hub manager change wireless mode from 1 to either 2 or 3
does your printer actually 'see' the hub wireless SSID?
