Re: Unable to get fibre

I spoke to the Openreach engineer when he set up the ADSL line and he said the cabinet was quite close so that shouldn’t be an issue

Re: Unable to get fibre

have you asked any of your neighbours if they have FTTC?  do you know where cab 3 and distance from you?

as I posted cab 3 is due to be expanded this month suggesting it is currently full

Re: Unable to get fibre

The cab is 0.3 miles to walk so I reckon about 0.15 as the crow flys

most of my neighbours are 70+ years old (bungalows) but I will ask

would BT not be able to tell me if my cabinet is full? When I speak to them they have no clue why I can’t get fibre

many thanks

Re: Unable to get fibre

not sure why being 70+ stops you from knowing about or having fibre broadband
