Re: Unable to upgrade to Fibre when copper wire is installed at property

Customer support should know about it, they may have to enquire with a supervisor though.

Re: Unable to upgrade to Fibre when copper wire is installed at property

As an update, it says on Open Reach's website "Fibre Checker" that FTTC is available at my property. That is what is making this so confusing.

Open Reach says it is available, I know its available, BT says its available but nobody is able to complete the transaction. It appears to be a deadlock and I have no way to fix it.

Is an ORDI check still needed if it says that FTTC is available on Open Reachs website?

Thanks to everyone as always

Re: Unable to upgrade to Fibre when copper wire is installed at property

The dslchecker result for your phone number dales not show FTTC available and that is what BT use to decide if fibre available or not. You need openreach to update the database so it shows FTTC available then you will be able to order

usually sorted by ORDI request

Okay, I will ask for an ORDI check tomorrow then and keep the thread updated with the progress.
