Use Smart Hub as an access point?

I have a Wi-fi 6 ASUS rouse just now and it works perfect but my only issue is I get 1 or 2 bars Wi-Fi at the bottom of my garden where we’ve made a new seating area. Went it connects, it’s fast but the signal keeps dropping.

Could I plug my smart hub into one of my ASUS router’s ethernet ports and then have the Wi-Fi discs connected to the smart hub to extend the signal further?

I want to use my ASUS as he main router as I notice better wired performance using this too

Re: Use Smart Hub as an access point?

You can certainly use the hub as a WAP, but not sure about the discs. To use the hub as a WAP, just give it an IP address outside of the DHCP range of the Asus and turn off DHCP. Connect the two together LAN port to LAN port.
