you are using te mail clent in windows 10 the one that has mail client built in ? re ad it if you are mines been sync without problems
if you are then open it then click then click
this should then pop up
@shakey1981 you are just muddying the waters, the OP doesn't have a problem with the account, just the app not remembering the password.
i had the sam problem readded the acount and it now syncs pefectly it a bug n the programme

Do you think its worth while deleting & restarting the BT account, I really don't want to lose some of the emails though ??
I tried creating a new BT email account yesterday & today the same thing - had to enter the password again on Windows Mail..
I have also added an old Gmail account to Windows mail so I will report if that's working OK tomorrow..
I did put Gmail & Yahoo mail accounts thru Windows mail & they both work OK..
well i dobt know what to tell you mine works find i added it uner the other opten put my wnail and passwoed in no problems at all
if you made your own bt email adress try making it a favourite in the email settings
or do check for updates on the microsoft store in windows ten
