internet lost connection yesterday around 6pm for about 5 hours once it reconnected it doesn’t work properly
some websites load sky sports, BBC
Others don’t Netflix, YouTube, google, Microsoft
wired or wireless, every device from Tv to laptops same problems persist
Ran a couple of speed tests download is fine but our upload speed is exactly zero so I believe this to be the problem, rang BT multiple times who claim there is nothing wrong with the connection, smart hub claims we are connected then we can’t we connected to everything? Why are we getting 0.00 upload speed when before it was on average 15-20mbps.

in order for the forum members to help please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
run btspeedtester and post results must be done with ethernet connection
