I have 3 phones from an original 4, marked BT8500 quad. One of the original 4 has been destroyed and I want to replace it. The fourth phone will be in my outbuilding at a distance. I got a device from BT to enhance the signal and improve the signal It is called a Digital Voice Adapter. But it requires that the fourth phone will have the facility of a phone line attachment The BT8500 quad phones have no such facility. What phone can I get that I can use in the shed, which will be part of the 4 phone set up?

You are misunderstanding what a Digital Voice adapter is. It is simply a portable phone socket that connects an analogue phone to the BT hub via DECT.
You simply need another 8500 handset assuming your outbuilding is within range of the base station.
