Hello, need some help please. I have Advanced Phone Z Twin, one of the handsets is perfectly fine when someone calls and I can hear them very well. However the second handset the caller is so quiet and I have to turn this onto loud speaker so I can hear them. I have checked whilst on a call both the call and volume setting and both are at maximum.
Any ideas please what setting it is that will adjust the volume of the caller so I can hear them properly. Thank you
It could be a faulty earpiece, which is why the speaker still works. Try the helpdesk.

Oddly enough, it does seem to be a problem with some BT Branded phones. The BT4600 is know to have this issue and has been reported on this forum. I have one BT4600 handset with exactly the same issue, so its either a fault with the earpiece itself, or the internal electronics.
You may be able to get a replacement handset from Discomm, who are the authorised spares supplier.
Thanks Keith, I will try Discomm. Failing that I will buy a new phone (not this type again though), only ever keep a landline going so my non mobile using parents can call.
Many thanks
