Now have BT EE 4G hub in new home. BT to connect my phones tomorrow and to have HUB ready. but EE Hub is not connected to land lines and cannot seem to connect BT phones to new HUB. Have I been provided with correct HUB
Which hub has BT provided? If it is a Smart Hub 2 there might be a sticker over the phone socket on the rear.
We're going to need more info. You seem to be describing a 4G MiFi device which will have no connectivity for phones.
What exactly have you ordered & from who?
What landlines are you trying to connect to what?
What is BT installing tomorrow?
Although if you have ordered EE service you should probably be asking on their forums.
Question asked of her. Its a mini hub from EE. She asked BT to stop Broadband in her old place and set up in new. to that this EE mini hub arrived. No other devices have arrived. Because the new device arrived we assumed she did not need to bring any devices from her old place. The EE hub works great. but assume its not working for phones. No other connection to hub except power. Cannot contact BT as they want to know the phone number before they will speak with you and she does not have a phone number yet.
Might go to Virgin never had any issues from them..
Cheers
Hi if that is a temporary ee 4g mini hub then when Openreach install your new line it should use a different router not sure for EE but I know on BT that it will plug into the back if you have received a smart hub 2 sometimes they put a sticker on it.
is your mother a BT broadband customer and has just moved home and is she moving the broadband to new home? Or has you mother not had broadband and this is a new BT broadband customer?
