Bt big button 200 v2 batteries question
Hello everyone!
I just bought this phone second hand and i'm wondering what the batteries are needed for exactly?
The phone seems to ring and receive and make calls alright without the batteries and the calling light still flashes. The manual makes no mention of what the batteries could be for! So i'm confused about this.
Thanks!

Most likely to backup any stored "quick dial" numbers if the phone is unplugged.

Ah ok!
Do you know how long the batteries usually last before they need to be replaced? Is it a long time?
Thanks!

Re: Bt big button 200 v2 batteries question
If it is only backup for volatile memory then if you buy decent alkalines, probably years!
Should be easy enough to verify which features work without batteries.

Re: Bt big button 200 v2 batteries question
Ok that's good to know they last for years potentially!
I already did try everything I could with this phone, with and without the batteries, to see what changed.
So when I could see nothing different either way, it's why I asked on here to be sure if they were really needed or not. 🙂
