I have a suggestion for the Hybrid Connect device (and I stand by to be shot down), why can't it have a rechargeable battery so that if you lose electricity it would work as a kind of MiFi device? Where I live we are more likely to lose power than have a broadband outage. I expect to be told why this is a silly idea, but just wondered.

Surely the hybrid connect connects to your hub's WAN rather than providing a direct wifi signal so hub would also need battery backup.
Yes, the Hybrid Connect is purely a 4G Modem and not a Router. I have both my SH2 and HC connected to my UPC.
Oh, so the Hybrid Connecter supplies a connection to SH2 in event of broadband loss. I was under the impression that the HC took over as the router. I knew there'd be a reason I'd be wrong. Thanks all.
