Hybrid connect variants

Go to solution

I received my HC box today and the faceplate is EE instead of BT. Interested to see are there variants of this box? Are they now issuing EE branded boxes as a matter of course now..

Hi @Kielty23   If it had BT on the front then it would have been an old box. The current boxes have EE.

So does that mean as they are moving everyone at sometime over to EE

I will be sent a new hybrid box with a EE Sim instead of the BT one

Re: Hybrid connect variants

All retail customers (e.g. the likes of you and me), are being moved over time to the consumer brand of EE apart from a small group of broadband customers who will stay with BT.

Nothing much will change and I don’t suspect any business could afford to replace all the kit branded in one flavour with another in one go, so I suspect you will get more EE branded stuff as new products are developed and you change contracts or as faulty equipment is replaced.
