Interestingly just did a dummy new customer order and....
No image?
Of course it also depends on the receiving equipment. I was overlooking that. That also means that even if the SH3 is faster, you may need a better receiver to see it. As I've said before, I'm not a big wireless user.
…and this is why I say wires are better, (and simpler). You know where you stand with wires. (And yes, that's a wind-up again).
@garybs29 That will be for a new customer. I'll be surprised if existing customers get one free.
Just recently been on live chat to them and apparently to get it they are saying to upgrade to halo or eligible for a free upgrade but I highly doubt they'll let any existing customer upgrade for nothing without cost involved so it's either buy one of your own or use a third party router instead @James-B @WSH @garybs29 @Bishopjoshua10

Well I hope that paying over the odds for Halo 3 for many years does actually mean I can get an upgrade. But I guess i'll need to speak to someone as I doubt an online renewal will trigger the new equipment issue.
Pretty much
Yeah they do well it shows for me anyway so not sure on that might be different for others
Yes - there is now just Halo 3+ on sale which has complete wifi (up to 3 discs), 4G backup and Double Mobile data bundled into it. Although as you cannot get a new BT mobile contract any more that last benefit (which I use) is not of use to many.
There is also the Price Promise 'Never pay more than a new customer when you renew your contract. No exceptions'. Which I will have to test out 😉
So if you are guaranteed to get the same deal as a new customer when renewing then logically you would expect to get the same equipment as a new customer. Which is why what is said here rings true.
