Returning equipment not linked to my own account

Go to solution

Hello

I have two ‘spare’ BT home hubs that were left in my house by the previous owner. When we moved in BT sent us new kit, which I installed, but there seems to be no obvious way to return the old hubs as they are not linked to my account.
Does anyone know how I can return these? There doesn’t seem to be a logical option to pick when trying to get through on the phone, and I can’t find an answer through online help.

Thanks

If you've only just moved in then can I suggest that you hold your horses until you've had time to identify any Wi-Fi blackspots, old hubs can easily be converted to Wireless Access Points.

If the equipment was not issued to you you can either take it to your local recycling centre or send it back to BT at your cost.

See link.
