Smart Hub 2 Return - Serial Number

Hi all,

Random question, I have two smart hubs 2. One from BT and one I bought myself (eBay) when my toddler poured water on the original one.

I want to send back the working hub (eBay) now that I have left BT.  Does it matter if the serial number doesn’t match the original hub BT sent me?

Hi @tommy2scoops,

Thank you for posting. When a hub is sent back to BT we do match it up with the Serial Number to make sure the correct one linked to the account has been returned back to BT. 

Do you still have the old faulty one?

Hi @tommy2scoops, yes, you can return any BT equipment that you've had prior to 13 December 2019 for recycling if you no longer need it. The bag will be big enough for both hubs to be sent to together.
