I have a NOWTV modem and two whole home white discs. They used to work fine. They stopped working. I did all the troubleshooting, no joy. BT supplied me with refurbished discs, still didn't work. NowTV gave me a new modem, didn't make any differerence.
Today, before admitting defeat and putting the discs on Ebay, I tried one more time, using my own ethernet cable (not the long yellow one provided by BT), and - strangely - the first disc connected. Either disc will work in this way - my cable, in either port, but not the yellow BT cable. But I can't get a second disc added! Just does slow blue flash to red solid. The apps suggestion (when it can't find the device) of pressing the WPS button does not work, nor do the troubleshooting steps (switch off, factory reset... )
The instruction to add a disc is to first connect it by ethernet cable, but my modem has only 2 ports.
And, while the yellow BT cable works fine to connect my modem to the phone line, the discs do not like them!
Any suggestions gratefully received... (Buy or borrow some plug in extra ports? And another ethernet cable?)
Note, when I first set it up it was the same modem - only 2 ports - and it worked.

Have you asked on your ISP`s forum, to see if anyone else is using the same setup?

It may be best to give the WHW product helpdesk a call on 0808 100 6116 ( Mon to Fri 9am to 5.30pm and Sat 9am to 2pm) or drop them an email to: btconnectedhome@bt.com and they'll be happy to help.
Thanks Keith
The NOW forum looks a bit dead (no posts) so I'll try the helpline.
