Re: Unable to connect to Wifi Home Hotspot Plus 600

@Les-Gibson

Thanks Les, Really appreciate your efforts to answer this  - I do think think that the Capcitance/Indutance theory is something that is worthy of further exploration, at some point. I like the idea of testing a very long ethernet cable to the Studio and plugging it in to the hotspot appliance. Putting a permanent fix in place using this solution is somewhat more of a ballache than the alternate suggestion.

I think the 'Expansion' is  worth a shot - given I only have two options, and if it works, is less faffing than the long ethernet cable.

Is there a way we can get BT to comment technically on the nature of the Spur restrictions?

I will come back and let you know how I get on.

Re: Unable to connect to Wifi Home Hotspot Plus 600

Hi @DIG

There are a couple of phone numbers you could try on the Product Support page (which one you would call depends upon the warranty status of the units), see Wi-Fi Home Hotspot Plus 600 | BT Help

I doubt BT will be able to offer any more information than is in the user manual (referenced from the above linked page) but I think the diagram below, which I've copied from the user manual, goes some way to explaining what I said earlier about the method of use.
