Whole Home WiFi - Disk connecting on 2.4GHz

I have BT Whole Home - the larger white disks.

One of my disks has started connecting using 2.4GHz.   If i reboot network it intially connects at 5GHZ.   then some time later flips to 2.4GHZ .   How can I keep it at 5GHZ ?

Re: Whole Home WiFi - Disk connecting on 2.4GHz

Generally, these devices will connect at the highest speed at which they can keep a reliable connection.  If it's initially connecting at 5GHz and then dropping to 2.4GHz you could try moving the disk a little closer to the router or consider if there is anything in the vicinity of the disk that could be causing interference!

I only learn by making mistakes and owning up to them - boy do I learn a lot!
