Wi-Fi disc won't connect to Hub (was working ... now doesn't)

Have a 2 x Wi-Fi discs that has been working continuously ... but not anymore.  They can't connect it to the Hub.  Have tried Ethernet cable, WiFi, WPS options, factory resetting, and all guides and notes on the BT respective sites but returns on all occasions to either Red / flashing red status.  Tried also to explore via my BT app and the options section and then 'your wifi network' but the phone doesn't see the network, keep on giving an error however the phone itself connects fine to the BT wifi (weird) and so too do all other devices in the house i.e. kids iPADs and TV.  Really stumped ... any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
