engineer from open reach came and set up my new modem, but left behind some boxed items, cant get through to bt, to ask what do i do with them?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Openreach and BT the ISP are actually separate companies, so BT couldn’t answer your question anyway.
Openreach have their own website, so you could try there. I’m not sure if it is really suitable, but there is this link to report equipment problems:
https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/damage-health-and-safety
Alternatively, if it was a subby, like Quinns, working on behalf of Openreach, you’d need to contact them directly.
What did he leave, might be interested in acquiring them.
open reach say they belong to bt, bt wont reply
no idea they are boxed
I'd just put them on one side for the moment then. If BT want them back they'll be in touch soon enough and they'll send you some return packaging.
(And just so you are aware, you are not talking to BT here. This is a customer-to-customer help forum and the only BT employees are the moderators. They may pick this up later).
@cfr do you mean he accidentally left some boxes that were not part of your install or deliberately left them?
If the latter, why not open the boxes and tell us what's inside so we can advise.
I suspect they could be a hybrid connect and WiFi disc if you have Halo 3+
think its sorted, just rang actualy got through this time !!!! i said id be disposing of them, and amazingly someone is coming to collect them in 48 hours !
