Hey all!
For the last 1-2 weeks I have been getting a massive spike to around 1000ms in ping lasting roughly 5-15 minutes around 11pm to midnight. My usual ping would be in the order of 60-100ms.
This has been causing unusable internet when playing games and comes with a minor hit to download speed too.
A tracert to 8.8.8.8 shows the issue doesn't seem to be within my home network, the PC this was run from is using powerline ethernet, but instead seems to be the hop to BT nodes.
This pingplotter chart shows how it only lasts infrequently.
