5c master socket problem?

@WSH  It can't be as there is an interstatial plate between the backbox and faceplate. The fact is it becauuse Openreach gave in to people complaining about having to use a screwdriver.

I've had both the old style socket, with an iPlate, and the newer 5C over the years.  I was taking about the newer 5C, which was what I assumed the OP had.

In fact, I seem to recall that the iPlate was screwed down, not clip on.  (Although they did change from machine screws to self tappers for some reason).
