Hello, from today I have 900mbps full fibre.
When I checked my WiFi speed, for example on my ps5 console (connected by Ethernet cable) it's shows 900mbps speed
But when I'm testing speed, it's still 500mbps like before (I had 500mbps full fibre for 1 year).
When I'm downloading on console (through LAN) it's still the same speed like before (when I had 500 Mbps).
On speed test app, on my smartphone it's also still 500 Mbps, not at least guaranteed 700mbps.
It is normal, that I paid more for 900mbps, but I still have the same speed like before?
As you can get 900mbps on your wired device it is more likely a limitation of your wireless devices, the just can't manage more than 500mbps.
The 700mbps guarantee is only to the hub.
The PS5 has a gigabit ethernet port so you're getting the full speed of your connection. As others have suggested, it sounds like the 500mbps speed tests are maxing out your WiFi connection speeds to the device or even what the hub can broadcast
You should get 900Mbps (or a little higher) if connected via LAN.
Wifi, will probably still get the same as before, or more if connection conditions are good.
