Another "my neighbour has FTTP, I can't get it" thread

2 years later, still no FTTP! Houses a few down all have it but our address plus 5 others still nothing. However, directly across the road from my house, on the pole which my house is connected to a distribution point has appeared. The property across the road is a commercial building and upon checking it's fibre status it says "Single Dwelling Unit Residential UG Proven Clear". 

I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to put some pressure on so I can piggy back off that? It's literally less than 10m from my front door, it's so frustrating!

Re-read your post - if your original info from Openreach was January 2024, and a fibre DP has now appeared on your pole, you are probably not far away from being able to order.

Try the availability checker again - what does it say now?
