Hi,
I upgraded from Full Fibre 500 to Full Fibre 900 on the 17th of August whilst on holiday. Today I have returned from holiday and the speed caps have not been lifted.
Running speeds tests show that I am getting the same speeds as Full Fibre 500.
Are there any admins that can check my speed caps have been changed correctly?
Thanks
Aaron

Might be worth restarting the SH if you use one.
Thanks for the response.
I don't use the SH but have tried rebooting the ONT and router but it made no difference.
The speeds are exactly the same as I was getting with Full Fibre 500 which leads me to believe the upgrade has not been completed correctly.
Have you actually spoken to anybody at BT about it? Try the FTTP team 0800 587 4787
@AaronD That speedtest looks like it was done on wifi, is that correct?
No that's a wired connection.
Running speed tests directly from the router yield similar results
@AaronD okay, well you said that was the speed you had before and if you were getting below 500 on the download then that would indicate you had an issue before the move from 500 to 900 and now it's made it worse.
It may need an engineer to check both the ONT and fibre cables.
I have been a total idiot!!
I had some legacy traffic shaping rules that I had implemented to reduce bufferbloat. I forgot to update the bandwidth limits on these rules!
All seems to be fine now
