Hi, @Devon_Dave there was an issue with the head-end equipment in the exchange. Openreach switched the control cards to resolve the problem.

Thanks

Neil

You posted that Openreach swapped cards in the exchange!

In the bad old days of copper lines, (including FTTC), some of the Openreach Engineers were very good but most of them were Monkey See Monkey Do. - That meant that when a neighbour complained of issues the Openreach "Enginineer", (in inverted commas), sometimes swapped your line with the neighbours problem line and doing so simply moved the problems around from one set of customers to another. - I had hoped that those poor practices of swapping stuff about to correct faults had ended.

A real engineer should fault find the system and replace the faulty card with a new card, (or, if he/she is very highly skilled repair the faulty card).

Let us hope that swapped cards means that the cards were replaced with brand new cards and not swapped with other cards in the exchange and in doing so swapping the faults around.
