Hi I am a BT Customer upgrading to Super Fast Fibre broadband and had a blocked duct, Openreach have visited, dug up the path, repaired it nicely and inserted a blue rope. My question is will the BT engineer install the actual fibre cable and box outside or will Openreach need to visit again before my BT engineer install which is confirmed for the end of March?

Re: Does the BT Engineer install the fibre to house?
BT don't install anything, all installation work is carried out by Openreach

It will be an Openreach Field Technician, BT Engineers normally stay in offices designing networks.
You will not get a visit from BT.

Re: Does the BT Engineer install the fibre to house?
there are no BT Engineers they are all openreach or contractors working for openreach. the engineer should be able to connect the csp outside and then then ONT inside so you can connect SH2
