when you say tried with CS was that retentions 08007831401? if not you can try that making sure you know what BT current offers are for new customers and also what other ISPs are offering. if you don't like it and provided you don't have DV then move to another ISP - simple using the one touch switching process
Out of curiosity, why did you say “provided you don't have DV then move to another ISP”?
I realise only a few ISPs offer voip service, so it reduces the choices, but is there another reason you said that?
I only mentioned DV as that may be better moved to separate VOIP provider and broadband to a new ISP eg Plusnet who no longer provide phone services
Spoke to retentions and cut a long story short, moving to EE on a new 900 Fibre contract in my name at the same price as the BT 900, complete with new modem. Happy with that.
Well done 👍
But just for clarity, you as a BT Customer, called BT Retentions and they have effectively convinced you to migrate to EE at a cheaper price? Or have I read that completely wrong?
If I’ve read it the way I see it, then it appears to be a convenient way of getting a BT customer off the books and bam! suddenly, you’re an EE customer. One could be forgiven that this is the future. I’m such a cynic 😆
