Does anyone know if FTTC on Demand is a precursor to normal FTTC becoming available at an address?
I think you must mean FTTP and not FTTC.
Sorry Keith, you are correct I do mean FTTP

I don’t believe so.
FTTP on Demand has been available at my address for many years, but we have only just had our exchange join the plan as a “maybe, hopefully” addition to the FTTP rollout in the next 12 months.
Thanks for the responses guys. just have to live with poor BB then.
Stick your post code in here to see when your exchange might be upgraded: https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband/where-when-building-ultrafast-full-fibre-broadband
Take the outcome with a pinch of salt, but you can also sign up for updates and if an alt-net gets to you first, you can always go down that route.
Thanks for that @Anonymous . They star they are building in the exchange so fingers crossed.
