FTTP - Free Run?
I'm lucky to have FTTP and a "junction pit" where all my road connects literally outside my front door. I easily achieve >900Mb/s down & >100Mb/s up.
Could BT be persuaded to let my download free run and not limit the speed to 900?
Kind Regards - Hugh

No
No idea why you think distance makes any difference to attainable fibre speed.

Thank you for the reply - and yes, I do understand how fibre works.

What does a Joint Box, or as you put it, ‘A Junction Pit’ have to do with the Upload Speeds Openreach Cap their Wholesale Products at?
