Fault diagnosis and repair

  • After spending hours on mobile trying to report a fault and getting bot messages telling me the signal to my home eas fine I finally get a message telling me there is an external fault...fault acknowledged 18/08 and message tells me it will be resolved by 26/08....8days???? How can this be from a broadband provider who claims to be the most reliable??? On top of this the fault reporting and resolution system is appallingly bad and virtually impossible to get over the obstacles to get speaking to a human...not user friendly by any stretch of the imagination!!!

Unfortunately some faults take longer to repair. Openreach will try to repair as fast as possible.

When I check local area faults none show so it seems that there is no joined up thinking amongst the numerous bots.
