Fibre Installation

Hi,

I currently have BT Fibre and am switching to Home Essential Fibre 2  from Fibre Halo 3+

BT has arranged for an open reach engineer to install new equipment but do i need to if I already have a fibre connection

If you currently have FTTC ( fibre to the cabinet ) and FTTP ( fibre to the premises ) is now available, the opportunity to upgrade you is taken if you change your contractual status , upgrade , downgrade, recontracting….so chances are although you have ‘fibre’ you are getting better version of ‘fibre’ and it requires you to be at home to have it fitted .
