Full Fibre Broadband

We have recently received notification from BT that we are to be upgraded to Full Fibre Broadband.  My question is how will this be provided.  Will my drive need to be dug up?   Our driveway is block paved and we cannot afford to pay for it to be replaced.  If BT dig it up will they be paying to have it repaved?  If not do can we refuse to have full fibre and just stay as it is.   As regards BT Voice,  we presently have a BT phone & answer machine that it set up to block unwanted calls and it has a do not disturb feature at night that only allows calls from a designated list to call.  Will these features be available with BT Voice or will be subject to spam & marketing calls again.

Re: Full Fibre Broadband

@Magg1

Please follow the instructions in the link below and post the results here. Please include the footer notes which will indicate how the full fibre drop cable will be installed to you

https://landlinesgo.digital/checkmyline

To note if in a full fibre priority area then providers will only be able to offer full fibre to you.

Openreach also have information here on how it's installed: https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/full-fibre-broadband-installation-checklist

If the some of the block paving needs to come up Openreach will reinstate as it was before

As for using your current phone handsets when moving to BT Digital Voice you can continue to use them by plugging the base unit into the phone port on the back of the smart hub 2 or EE smart hub
