Full Fibre Upgrade

I have had an email by Openreach to say full fibre will be available within the next couple of months.

Do BT have an option to upgrade to full fibre or it it a new contract to do this?

Re: Full Fibre Upgrade

You can normally upgrade when it's available but you'll have to agree to a new contract which are typically 24 months..

You may not get "new customer" prices and the price offered may not even be competitive, so it's worth bearing that in mind.

@scottmurr1

you just need to keep checking here to see if/when FTTP available to you.  there are posts on forum where openreach send our flyers about FTTP to an area but some find it is actually not available to them yet despite openreach circular

Re: Full Fibre Upgrade

Any upgrade if to full fibre or any new deal is on a new contract thesebare typically 2 years. I renewed my deal by the 2byears when I went to full fibre as I am happy with BTs service and the price I was quoted.

Re: Full Fibre Upgrade

If your were a Halo3+ customer the T&C’s allow for a upgrade to FTTP when available without renewal of the contract, but for other situations the ‘cost’ for a ‘free’ upgrade is renewal of a minimum term , but that’s the same with most providers
