I am due to have full fibre installed in a couple of weeks, it is to be an under-road install using the ductwork carrying my current phone line.
Depending on where you look, there seems to be differing opinions on how it will be installed. Some say that a box is installed on outside wall of the house, then another OTR inside which connects to the router. Other sources say that the fibre cable connects directly to the OTR with no box outside.
Can anyone confirm which is correct, or does the process differ with each install ?
Also, there seems to be differing opinions on the size of the OTR. Some say 18x15 cm, some say 13x11 cm.
Can someone confirm the size, as I need it to be as unobtrusive as possible and the size will dictate where I can put it.
Thanks

There is an outside box (CSP) where the external fibre is spiced to the internal fibre and the an internal optical modem (ONT) which in turn connects to your Hub (Router). The size of the ONT will depend on which manufacturer's device is fitted.
