I’m hoping to install full fibre when it eventually arrives in my area, but I’m concerned about the installation. Currently, my master socket is on a dividing wall in the middle of my house. The BT supply goes through an external wall, at ground level, up to the loft, across the loft space and down through the stud wall to the socket. My HomeHub 2 is beside the master socket and provides excellent wifi around the house. At the original delivery point there are no mains sockets internally. I’m wondering how the installation could be done to be functional but not obtrusive.
If you want the ONT where the existing NTE is any new Wiring, i.e. the Fibre EZ Bend Cable, which has a Diameter of about 3.5mm would be surface mounted over skirting boards and doorframes.
It may also require drilling through Internal Walls.
