Normally receive 140Mb down, 17Mb up when the line is working properly. Dipping to around 10Mb down / 7Mb upwhen the problems start which is normally peak hours, all other times of the day it's full speeds. I check the status checker and it always says no issues in my area.
Network setup:
BT Smarthub 2
basic network 24 port switch (house is wired up with ethernet)
3 x BT Wifi discs (1 connected to switch, rest on wireless)
BT Vision box
"home expert" came out and said it was the discs being connected via ethernet to the switch which was the issue but the issue persisted with and without them so it's not that. Also I was testing on a wired connection.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @Zoning6853
Thanks for your message.
I am pleased that you've found that it was a background program on your machine causing an issue with your speeds.
As this is all sorted I will go ahead and close this off from here.
Have a nice weekend.
Robbie
