Help with Fibre to my flat

Been trying to get fibre for best part of 5 months. I know I can get it, because the building my flat is in can get it, my upstairs neighbour in the same building has it, and when I was initially trying to order fibre it went through fine. I've had 5-6 different openreach engineers come round, say they can do it, (one of them even started the process and there is currently a fibre optic cable drilled into my wall not connected to anything ) and they ask to wait until the job gets assigned back to them in a couple of days; but thats where the trouble starts. The order is always failed as there is an address issue (or the job extension number is incorrect?), and my flat is not showing properly

I just don't know what to do anymore and I'm all out of ideas. I've seen for some people this is fixed by an ORDI request? We don't actually have a landline installed so that may be why? I just don't want to be on the phone anymore, I've spoken to 20 different agents and it never gets resolved. I'm usually a very easygoing person but I'm honestly at my breaking point. Pleeeease help!

do you currently have a broadband connection and if so are you a BT broadband customer?

is your address correct in royal mail database?

I do have standard copper Broadband yes, the initial CSA I spoke to said that I needed copper before upgrading to fibre, the openreach engineer who came round first said this was not true and that I could've gone fibre straight away

if you are a BT broadband and phone customer can you enter phone number and post results including notes

"FTTP is not available.

The exchange is not in a current fibre priority programme

As a WLR withdrawal exchange, product restrictions apply

SOADSL is not restricted at the exchange

If the End User wishes to migrate from their current Broadband supplier they will need to contact the Broadband supplier they want to take service from to arrange for the service to be migrated

For all ADSL and WBC Fibre to the Cabinet (VDSL or G.fast) services, the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.

For all SOADSL services,the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.

Actual speeds experienced by end users and quoted by CPs will be lower due to a number of factors within and external to BT's network, Communication Providers' networks and within customer premises.

In order to be eligible for handback, downstream speed should be less than Downstream Handback Threshold values.

ADSL, ADSL2+ and SOADSL availability: If shown at FTTP or SOGEA premises,ADSL, ADSL2+ and SOADSL are not available to order due to WLR Withdrawal stop sell rules. CPs should order FTTP or SOGEA. Copper products are only available by exception."test.png

Multiple engineers have been and said they can do it, they just need to install the box and connect my existing cable hanging out of my wall lol the fibre exchange is right outside my window

test 2.pngThis is what I get if I use the UPRN of the building itself. How can it be two separate results, I live in this same building? Is there anything stopping me from just setting up an account and ordering fibre from the building itself?

Based on the screenshot of the DSL checker , you don’t have FTTP available, so it’s remarkable that you ever got an order for FTTP raised , so that suggests the address has two entry's  and it was the other entry that were used to raise an order , you seem to have cropped the top off the DSL entry you have posted.

What type of flat is it , a converted house or a purpose build set of flats/apartments ? , generally houses converted to flats , if they exist in an overhead area ,  can utilise the overhead FTTP infrastructure, so basically although a MDU ( multiple dwelling unit ) the service can be from a dropwire from the existing pole , with purpose built ‘flats’ , often the copper pair service is from an internal distribution point , a large multi pair copper cable enters the main building ( underground ) and each individual flat has its own internal cable from the common point where the distribution point is located …these type of flats are not included in the general rollout of FTTP because they are complicated and require negotiation with the building owners / management etc ,  they are a specific MDU type build , each flat isn’t served as and when an order is received, but when permission is granted , it’s ‘block wired’ as it’s likely to be a difficult and specialised installation.

If your flat has the possibility of service from a pole outside, but officially it’s a MDU , an Openreach tech may say it can be done , but the systems used won’t allow it.

Hi thanks for your response. I believe it used to be just one building, but was converted into flats at one point. 

The thing is the flat on the top floor went through this same thing (unfortunately they are long gone now so I cant ask), but they managed to get a fibre installation, and were getting speeds of 200mbps. So it's definitely possible I just don't know what to do at this point.
