Home Move and Engineer Visit

Hi

So I started my home move process yesterday and I am moving into a flat which already has FTTP from OpenReach and the flat has ONT installed. Both LOS on PON lights are static and on. However OR told BT I still need engineer for a Ethernet fault. Anyone had this? 

Previous occupiers had working BT Fiber before they left last month.

If the LOS, Loss of Signal Light is on then you definitely need an Engineers visit as that means there’s a fault somewhere.
