Good evening, I’ve just moved into a flat that has some OpenReach installed.
I’m reaching out to the agents to try and get some insights into how previous tenants have achieved a broadband connection.
Can anyone help shed some light on what I’d need to do to achieve broadband?
thanks
Solved! Go to Solution.
The flat has OR FTTP ( fibre to the premises ) so speeds of upto 900Mb are available, because you have posted on the BT Consumer forum , you call BT , or go online at BT.Com and order whatever broadband service (with or without a phone service ) you require, 900Mb is available , but you don’t necessarily need that speed , 40Mb is also available , or any of the speed profiles between 40 and 900,
when the order is processed, at some point a BT SH2 broadband router would be sent out to you , that you connect to the ONT ( the larger of the white boxes in the photo ) , and that’s it , your ‘on line’ , you shouldn’t need an engineer visit but one may be arranged anyway.
