How do I get my Access Line ID?

Go to solution

Hello.

Can someone tell me how I obtain my Access Line ID please?

I want to get as accurate predictions as possible for my line, especially as external cabling has been replaced by Openreach, but I am on SOGEA so the phone number doesn't work.

On a side note, I am experiencing very solid speeds on Fibre 1 since install (55/10 all day long, 50+ download at peak times on wireless), does Openreach update data on the checker over time if speeds are higher than expected?

Openreach will have a "last observed speed" recorded on the checker for your line.

To get your Access Line ID ring customer services.

For completeness, I can confirm I have been provided with an access line ID (well, I was given a BBEU number and was told it was the same thing).

Sadly it doesn't work and I was told this is because there is an outstanding order on my account. I suspect this is because I have ordered my digital MasterCard incentive for returning, but the only order I can see on my account is the original broadband and digital voice which says it is "complete".

Sigh.

Some things at BT clearly haven't changed and the motto "just wait longer" remains! 😁
