Last night, there was very heavy rain where I live. I was wondering why I experienced an outage, considering we have FTTP and live underground. However, I noticed that there wasn't significant shielding around the cable when it was laid under my garden.
Is it worth calling BT? It seems to happen every time there's heavy rain, especially during thunderstorms. I'm near Belfast, by the way.
Does the rule still apply where they charge you if they don't find a fault?
