Just switched from BT to EE but no router

Go to solution

I have just switched a few days ago from BT to EE and still waiting for my new EE router to arrive.  I currently have a BT Smart Hub 2    BT-76ACS6   Do I need to contact someone?  I am on Fibre 50

I hate to be the person to have to say this; but as you are now an EE customer, it's other EE customers that are more likely be able to answer this, and not those of us who remain with BT!

I only learn by making mistakes and owning up to them - boy do I learn a lot!

You will need to contact the EE customer services and ask them if you are entitled to a new EE router.

They may say that your Smarthub 2 works with EE so they will not be replacing it.

You can ask but they're probably tell you at those speeds there's no advantage whatsoever in getting a EE router.

Save yourself all the messing around setting up a new router and stick with the SH2

It will be annoying I know, but if you really want an EE hub/router then they are readily available new, on that well known online auction site for £20 or less.
