Need to replace mains power lead for white box.

Hello,

I have BT fibre broadband, I have an issue with the main plug lead that plugs into the wall socket and the white box, find that the lead keeps falling out of the socket on the white box.

please see photo attached,

Can you tell me were I can buy a mains power lead from and what are these leads called.

Thanks

Re: Need to replace mains power lead for white box.

It's unlikely to be the PSU unless it's damaged. Although I've never known a DC jack to fall out of it's socket by gravity, the ONT is more likely to be the issue & maybe that's damaged. Was the cable maybe tripped over pulling it out? Can you post a pic of the DC jack on the end of the lead & also of the socket it plugs into?

In the meantime a small blob of Blutack should sort the issue.

Sounds more the like Power Port on the ONT is broken and not the Power Cable.

As said, it’s probably been damaged when someone’s pulled the Power Lead by tripping on it, with a Hoover, etc.

Either way I’d report it as a fault and they’ll send Openreach out to replace it.
