There is already an image of a CBT ( the 1st reply to this post ) , the image in reply 9 is a TM node , it could be a splitter node or could just be a transitional joint , so the fibres are just spliced through from the cable going in to the cable going out….if there is a CBT on the pole where your copper cable runs from then ( provided the network is ready for service ) you should be able to order, but there are occasions where CBT’s exist but the ‘spine’ fibres back to the headend don’t , so service isn’t available, even though locally everything appears to be in place.
